I took a workshop recently with a wonderful pastel artist, Sally Strand. 

This was the second of three still life compositions she set up for us. Therefore it can not be sold or put in an exhibition as it is not my original creative idea.  This is our third still life painting.

I took a workshop recently with wonderful pastel artist Sally Strand. This was the first of three still life compositions she set up for us. Therefore it can not be sold or put in an exhibition as it is not my original creative idea. We were to pay attention to the front middle and background plains and try to get the values correct within each area.   This was lighted with a red gel over the light bulb of the lamp for the set-up.
